Open:
Monday – Friday
10am – 4pm
Tell Timmy if she is there that Sharon from Love My New Zealand suggested you visit. This is the place to talk to her about a little piece that can be filled with your own sand as a memory but I will leave that to you Aaron.
With stunning views over the Hauraki Gulf, this is definitely a place to take a picture together as you enjoy a sample of the tea or iced tea blends. Robyn can make her own blend version of tea that she can savour as a memory in the future.
Afterward, you can wander around the lovely island village of Oneroa for a little while perusing the village shops and if you really to try a great coffee, this would be the perfect moment to do so. and maybe a sample of the island gelato. The flavours and processes are orchestrated by the work of a passionate chef who was a runner-up in the last Master Chef New Zealand programme. Constantly adapting, experimenting and testing new ingredients in the pursuit of that perfect mouthful of excitement, it should be on your radar but not if you are holding on for Franco’s hand baked goods…
Now for a little bit of Italian indulgence. Stop in at Franco’s La Panetteria across the road from Te Matuku Oysters at 30 Belgium Street, Ostend, Auckland 1081. Franco’s Bakery is situated in the heart of Waiheke Island. They specialise in Italian baking with pan-European flair. Franco’s is a very popular little bakery, located in the new central business district of Ostend and the sweet treats are simply to die for. Pick something up here to savor the following morning at your beautiful accommodation.

Take a gentle drive along a gravel road, encompassing wide landscape views from the tops of hills, to lush, subtropical forests. PLEASE DRIVE CAREFULLY
The idyllic Man O’ War Bay is located at the very Eastern end of Waiheke Island. Showcasing their current release Flagship and Single Vineyard wine ranges alongside select limited library stock wine it is a must-do on your Waiheke itinerary.
Upon arrival enjoy a tasting of the range with our friendly, knowledgeable staff in the colonial ambiance of the Tasting Room where the sustainably sourced solid Kauri bar takes pride of place alongside the wines and the vintage photographs, maps, and art that lattice the walls and tell the story of Man O’ War’s legacy, land, and wine.
Waiheke is the home of some of New Zealand’s finest Syrah and Bordeaux blend wines. The vineyards are boutique in size and offer a great diversity of wines, tourist and epicurean experiences which are easily accessible on this relatively small island.
Linger here for lunch as it is the only vineyard that has its own beach so definitely a place to spend some quality time.
May I suggest that afterwards you take a tour here…or maybe before lunch at Man o War?

Do you want to go to dinner on Thursday evening?
Anthony,,,
Formerly the head chef of prestigious London-based catering company Urban Caprice. Their motto was ‘nothing is a problem’ and it’s probably this and the quality of the food that made them the most sought-after caterers around. Clients such as Armani, the Frieze Art Fair, Louis Vuitton, Mercedes-Benz, Vogue & Saatchi & Saatchi demanded their services all over Europe, from ten to two thousand guests at a time.
Most recently Anthony was at the helm of The Oyster Inn, earning awards and accolades along the way such as Metro magazines best destination and a nomination for Auckland’s best chef. No stranger to an award or two, he also picked up his fair share back home in England with his own south coast restaurant, The Mill Tea & Dining Room, a Good Food Guide restaurant of the year.
Countless restaurants and food companies have called upon his services as a consultant and if you haven’t eaten his food, you might have drooled over it, he’s been a food stylist for some of the world’s biggest magazines, companies, and campaigns.
Never one for sitting still, he’s been a private chef to two British Prime Ministers, looked after pop stars, royalty, and the sporting elite at home and abroad, and even overseen the hospitality at the G8 summit and the MTV awards.

Belle Terrace is a one way street that you join at the top of Waiheke Road and it sweeps back down. As you drive down Belle Terrace you will see the property standing proud up on the left hand side. The driveway entrance is on the left. There is a wooden sign with WAIHEKE BELLE no 42 immediately before the driveway. Take this driveway up to the top. Please be aware that the house has a very steep driveway and there is plenty of room to turn around at the top. (if arriving by taxi – please make sure you make the driver aware that there is turning room at the top and although it is steep, it is a new concrete drive) Please do be careful when driving back down onto the road, as the space at the bottom of the drive is quite tight to manoeuvre and Belle Terrace is a one way street.
SUV vehicles and cars with high ground clearance are best suited to this driveway but this is not essential. Please note that FWD people carriers are not suitable. There is plenty of parking along along Belle Terrace if you don’t feel your car is suitable. Please call me if you have any questions.
