We are honoured to have the opportunity to host and look after you for the day on the water before relaxing on Waiheke Island.
08.30 am – Please assemble promptly at Wasting Light located in Viaduct Harbour’s Waitemata Plaza Marina, berth 4, just around from the Head Quarters Restaurant. The gate to the Marina is situated just at the end of Customs Street West and Sharon will see you there to begin your onboarding procedure.
09.00 am – Departing Immediately at 9am After a safety briefing from your captain and Sharon, we are off with a hearty bacon artisan sandwich on board perfectly matched with Prosecco, Champagne and light refreshments from the bar along with organic Kombucha and sparkling and still water to set everyone up for an enjoyable day.
Christmas Macaroons will be served along with a fresh fruit platter from The Platter Collective.
A stewardess will be on hand to serve drinks from the bar area all through the day. Please note, there will be no self service due to safety requirements.
Drinks available as per order placed with Cahn’s and include white wines, gin and tonics and many other options. Sharon will provide drink menu’s on board for people to look at and choose from.
Water sports will take place along with a mid way hearty ham and cheese swirl, apple tart and cream to go with a coffee and or tea along with plenty of hydrating refreshments and of course steady as you go with the alcoholic beverages.
We would ask that all guests if taking part in water sports limit their alcoholic intake until after they have enjoyed those same activities including swimming. It will be at the discretion of the captain to refuse someone’s ability to partake in an activity if it is deemed they have consumed too much alcohol.
Please ensure you wear comfortable casual wear including soft shoes that you can easily slip on and off for onboard and swimming and sports. Please bring only a small bag containing your essentials such as swimwear, towel and if you do wish to have a shower, then please fell free to avail of the onboard facility, but it will be a little difficult for 36 people to share two-stateroom showers so if you can enjoy the beach feel, then maybe consider throwing a second change of clothes into your bag so you are comfortable over a lunch and games at Man O War and feel free to shower upon your return to the vessel.
02.00 pm – Smaller groups will disembark onto the beach via tender from the motor launch directly in front of Man o War vineyard and begin with a gorgeous BBQ lunch in one of the most popular island vineyards. Drinks can be ordered via an open cash bar to be paid for before leaving for the event and please do arrange to make payment for the group lunch on the day. Sharon and Aleesha will be on hand to look after your interests at all times.
Enjoy some real fun as you segway with each other in competition. Lots of laughs but again a focus on being able to be safe. Sharon will help with this.
