The New Zealand Nautical Trust gives young New Zealanders the power and leadership, teamwork, courage and environmental awareness. Since 2008, the NZ Sailing Trust has provided a lifelong experience for more than 8,000 young people. Participants appreciated the knowledge needed to drive these yachts around the world and challenged them with respect and admiration for their sailors and the sea. Participants understand their identity, respect for their peers, their own strengths, and a sense of challenge that transcends challenges. These programs are designed to harness the talents of each individual and enhance the capabilities of the participants.

Our yachts – NZ Lion and Steinlager2

These two yachts are dream yachts. They have created many successful careers for the Kiwi sailors and inspired more inspiration. We want to make sure that we retain and use legendary yachts from New Zealand’s nautical history to help inspire the next generation of young people in New Zealand. Adventure, sea sports, competitions, friendship sports and national pride. The men and women who sailed on these ships learned the story of the sailors, inspired them, and how they overcome adversity, suspicion and fear, and won the hearts of New Zealand and the world.

We invite you to experience the magic of this experience.

Therefore, on the first day in Auckland, it is very important to welcome you to make you feel at home so that you can recover quickly and enjoy a wonderful journey. Let us take care of you and meet the passionate Kiwi people who will take care of you and show you the beauty of Auckland, allowing you to enjoy, relax, eat and prepare for adventure.

We will gather in the eco-city. On the food tour, collect fresh fish, oysters and avocados, then pick quality wines from our wine sommeliers.

Board your sailboat and enjoy a hearty lunch later that day after the adventure.

Say a day with your private crew on the Hauraki Gulf and become part of this magnificent maritime history, while the chef prepares a feast in the kitchen for a variety of wines for lunch. Complete the wonderful experience of living on the water.

After the adventure, you can safely return to your accommodation, or choose to dine in the New Zealand Royal Yacht Squadron and enjoy the famous America’s Cup to end your day and immerse yourself in the sea.

We will arrange your schedule according to your convenience, but here we provide examples for you to check.

09.30 am – We will meet tuk-tuk, so there will be no traffic congestion, only clean, fresh air.

10:00 am – Enjoy our famous Auckland historic fish market, tasting oysters, squid, shellfish and more. Your chef will choose the best lunch food for you.

11.15 am – Now, we visit Auckland’s private wine shop to provide you with healthy morning tea, including fresh New Zealand cheese, homemade bread and local fruits and produce. When you are in this wonderful wine hall, you can taste wines from all over New Zealand and find out why we are good at making wines. Later in the day, your favorite wine will have lunch with us.

12.30pm – We are very satisfied with the food and the stomach is very happy. Now, we are very happy to sail on a historic ship.

2.30 pm – Fresh lunch is prepared on our yacht and you can enjoy it with the chef.

4.30 pm – Return to Auckland Marina safely and we will make sure you take you back to Auckland to relax in the fresh ocean air.
