What a year it has been! Santa also has faced many challenges in gathering up all the toy orders from around the world under the various border restrictions, so he is particularly looking forward to having a few days at his wild west Auckland bach, where his cell phone can't disturb him, Mrs. Claus can't nag about what is still to do and he can enjoy the scenery in his old jeep and toast as many marshmallows as he likes over his open fire. This is your private invitation from Santa to bring along your friends and family and enjoy what we have in New Zealand and celebrate how fortunate we are with him.
RY, 10.00am Meet at Swanson Railway Cafe and if you get there early, grab a coffee and use the loo and meet off-road Santa!
PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN CROCKERY, CUTLERY AND REFRESHMENTS ALTHOUGH WE WILL HAVE ICED WATER, AND A FULL CHRISTMAS LUNCH FOR YOU.
10.15 am – Convoy will be guided to our private off-road location-based at Te Henga, Bethells Beach. Please note that any images you may post onto social media, please refrain from using the name of the location and instead refer to a west coast location in Auckland so that we can reduce some people thinking they can simply come and drive without permission as we want to keep our locations private.
10.30 am – Navigating onto our first set of off-road challenges as we are greeted by Santa and give his safety instructions before proceeding.
1.30 pm – Christmas lunch at Santa’s bach. Help yourself to his delicious BBQ’d Christmas ham, pineapple, and lashings of salads and artisan bread to tear off in chunks and enjoy. Finish off with french donuts and toasted marshmallows
3.00 pm – For those still keen to enjoy some of the harder challenges, we pick up the pace and head off into the glorious tracks that Santa has put down not with his sleigh but with his old jeep.
Finish with a Christmas gift for each of you personally from Santa to celebrate how good you have been getting through 2020!
Safety
Please ensure you have a full tank of fuel. A current WOF and vehicle registration. Please ensure your tires are correctly inflated for road use. Ensure all loose items can be secured in the vehicle prior to going off-road. Please drive to the location carefully. Please let your trip leader know if there are any medical conditions that we should be aware of prior to the commencement of the day.
Safety briefing will be conducted on the day at location.
Cost is $59 per adult and $39 per child
The cost includes an outdoor rustic Christmas premium lunch and a gift from Santa as well as access to the wonderful and scenic lands he escapes to.
Please note there is a single supplementary cost of $89 if you do not have any passengers but still have a car.
