Be creatively inspired and enjoy the company of a highly successful full time Auckland artist, Mark Olsen.

Demystifying the world of an artist – you are invited to share Mark’s inspiring story of how he moved from the business world twelve years ago to become an internationally successful portrait artist.

Gain an overview of a city while on route to meet with Dr Rangihīroa Panoho as he walks with you through ancient history and stories of our land and where it all began this immersive 1.5 hour experience will evoke the senses.

Extend your journey of Auckland’s city life, through an ocean landscape to Mark Olsen’s private studio where you will be greeted by the man himself. Mark will let you know who his portraits are and their connection to his latest new project.  Try a little painting with Mark and relax into something new with great company and decadent canapes before dinner.

Enjoy your Private Chef and learn about the delights to follow with a five course degustation designed around the art of food. Sample New Zealand fine wines matched to perfection with each course throughout your evening.

3.00 pm – Collect guests from accommodation in Auckland and head to meet Dr Rangihīroa Panoho for a 1.5 hour experience to learn about our cultural ancestors and their impact on Auckland and New Zealand

5:00 pm – We then transport guests in luxury vehicles (Land Rover, Range Rover or Tesla) to Mark Olsen’s private Parnell studio and allow them to get to know each other with canapes and champagne and relax with Mark in his talk through his story along with artistic interaction between the guest and Mark’s current paintings meaning the guest can paint within the current piece.

7.00 pm – Seated at Mark’s large artistic table as our private chef takes the guest through a five course degustation matched with wines from the whole of New Zealand

9.30 pm – Guests are returned to their Auckland accommodation.
